Sporty Kids Australia offers a variety of classes that cater to children of different ages, interests and abilities. Our programs are designed by a team of professionals including early childhood teachers and children’s fitness trainers and have been endorsed by health professionals. 

 

 

ACTIVE PROGRAM 0-5 YEARS

Providing BIG fun for little ones, the Active Program is the ultimate ‘All in One’ Sports Class for boys and girls from 1 to 5 years

The Baby Active Program is a targeted sensory, movement and development program for babies from 4 to 18months

 

ACTIVE BUBS

This class is a wonderful way to nurture your baby’s development in a gentle and supportive environment. Active Bubs will have fun exploring and reacting to new experiences through music, movement and play. Babies will engage in a range of sensory stimulating activities that create opportunities for special parent-child bonding time.

ACTIVE TIKES

Now bub is on the move, this class caters to your child’s ever-increasing curiosity and independence. Crawling and new walking bubs will develop thinking and problem-solving skills as they explore activities and obstacles that encourage sitting, standing, rolling, crawling and walking in an exciting and inspiring environment.

ACTIVE WALKERS

This class creates a fun, safe and challenging space for children to develop body awareness and build confidence while promoting early development of important motor skills like walking, running and jumping. Children will begin to interact with others and develop strength, balance and coordination.

ACTIVE TOTS

As your little one is rapidly growing and learning, this class moves towards a structured format, where children are now required to stay with the group. Active Tots, with the help of their parents, will direct their energy into targeted activities that develop ball skills, fine and gross motor skills, balance, strength, flexibility and coordination.

ACTIVE KIDS

During this class, coaches lead children through fun, fast moving activities with a holistic approach to the development of motor skills and ball skills. Children participate in this class independently without the support of their parents, who are welcome to cheer from the sidelines.

This is a fabulous class that supports the development of important school readiness skills like listening and following directions, while preparing your child with all the background skills required to excel in any sport they choose to pursue.

GYMNASTICS FOR CHILDREN 3.5 to 8 years

A personalised, boutique style gymnastics program offering children a non-competitive gymnastics experience in a structured, progressive and fun environment. Our program introduces children to fundamental gymnastics skills with a focus on teaching correct body positions, shapes and techniques for skill progressions. Children will improve coordination, balance, strength and flexibility while learning exciting drills and skills on gymnastics apparatus including vault, bars, beam, floor and tramp. This program promotes important developmental skills including focus and concentration, self-control and discipline, attention to detail, applying feedback and listening and following instructions.

RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS FOR GIRLS 7 - 10 YEARS

A wonderful introduction to the beautiful and graceful sport of Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG). Rhythmic Gymnastics combines elements of gymnastics and dance with hand-held apparatus. Gymnasts will learn fun apparatus handling skill with ball, hoop, clubs, rope and ribbon, while developing RG body skills, basic acrobatics and fun dance steps. RG promotes fitness, flexibility, coordination, posture, confidence and perseverance.

Beginner

No previous experience required

A fun and challenging class focusing on safe and effective stretching, foundational dance skills, body skills including turns, balances and leaps, basic acrobatic elements and apparatus handling techniques.

Intermediate

Previous experience in gymnastics or dance. (Pre-requisite acro skills required – Handstand, Cartwheel and Bridge Kickover)

A more complex class where gymnasts will further develop apparatus handling techniques to learn exciting new Rhythmic skills and more complex body skills and acrobatic elements.

WARRIORS FOR CHILDREN 3.5-8 YEARS

Our Warriors classes focus on coordination, agility, flexibility, strength and discipline whilst mastering skills and various obstacles. Warriors helps increase concentration, builds confidence and determination! Skills learnt in this class complement individual and team sports. Great for boys and girls who want to push through comfort zones and have fun along the way.

DANCE FOR CHILDREN 3 - 8 YEARS

Sporty Kids dance program offers students a strong foundation in many dance styles without the pressure of concerts, competitions, and added fees. Our program is recreational and allows students to build confidence whilst learning in a fun and supportive environment. The dance program is a combination class that will cover a range of styles throughout the year. Our main focus is Jazz, Ballet, and Contemporary. However, we will also cover Hip Hop, Tap & Acrobatics. Our highly experienced and enthusiastic teachers will inspire and nurture every student's passion for dance.
